Essential Functions:

• Reviews Denials and decides on the course of action with insurance companies.
• Follows up and drives next steps for both clinical and non-clinical denials and reports status of delinquent accounts.
• Review payment posting from insurance companies and patients.
• Conducts self in accordance with organization’s employee manual.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of professional and facility medical billing/RCM practices.
• Proficiency with multiple practice management applications such as eClinicalWorks.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivables and Denials follow-up with insurance companies.
• Willingness to work on India night shift.
• Knowledge of basic medical coding (ICD 10) and third-party operating procedures is a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients and coworkers.
• Team player and goal oriented.
